OpenAI is making its Advanced Voice mode, which was first showcased in May, available to all Plus and Team users in the ChatGPT app this week. However, the rollout is not happening in certain countries due to regulations. The feature, which was initially launched for select Plus subscribers in July, promises to provide a natural-sounding conversation with the AI. OpenAI has also added new voices, improved accents, and features such as Custom Instructions and Memory. The new voices include two male and three female voices, increasing the total number available to nine. The feature also allows users to give the bot custom instructions and remember previous conversations and instructions. Team and Plus users will receive a notification when it’s their turn to access advanced voice mode.
